Planet Earth is showing definitive signs of global warming and climate change caused by ambient temperature rises around the globe. Whether such changes are part of a natural cycle which the planet undergoes in thousands of year cycles or whether it is created by the actions of man is a matter of large conjecture among scientists.
Some Effects of Global Warming.
It is now estimated that average world temperatures have increased by almost 1 degree Centigrade since the late 19th century. The rate of global warming is increasing and during the first two decades of the 20th century the temperatures were hotter than at any time for millennia, as reported by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, (IPCC).
